Insurance

We recommend the purchase of cancellation, baggage, accident and medical insurance. Please contact your travel agent for more information. 

Prices

All given prices are per person and exclude GST (Goods and Services Tax; currently at 7%). The GST will be shown separately on the invoice. This allows you to -at least partly- reclaim the tax (tax refund forms are usually distributed during your flight or are available at the airport). This regulation is not applicable to Canadian citizens.

Payment conditions

After receiving our invoice please transfer a deposit of CAN$ 200 or Euro 150 to Orca Kayak Adventures. Thus holds your space until 60 days prior to tour start, when payment is due in full. Thus, on the latest 60 days prior to tour start the total amount must have been transferred to us without prior notice. Due to the nature of international operations prices are subject to change without notice.

Services not included

Not included in the tour costs are travelling costs to and from the point of departure, meals and lodging prior to and after the tour, insurance of any kind, medical expenses of any kind, evacuation costs of any kind or by any means.

Delays

For additional costs incurring due to delays prior to, during or after the tour (e.g. delayed flights or tour delays due to bad weather conditions) Orca Kayak Adventures does not accept liability. We do not make provisions for any costs of delays.

Cancellations by the customer

Cancellations by the customer prior to tour start are possible at all times. The cancellations have to be forwarded to Orca Kayak Adventures  in written form. The date of receipt is decisive for determining the tour fee refund. The following refund will be given:

Cancellation 60 days or longer prior to tour start: a full refund less deposit

Cancellation 30-59 days prior to tour start: 50% refund

Cancellation 14-29 days prior to tour start: 25% refund

Cancellation 13 days or shorter prior to tour start: 0% refund

Note: If a replacement can be found for your spot, a 100% refund will be given.

Cancellations by Orca Kayak Adventures

Orca Kayak Adventures reserves the right to cancel tours and contracts in the following cases:

- Until 4 weeks prior to tour start due to inadequate sign-up (i.e. less than 4 persons).

- Without prior notice - when a tour guide is seriously sick or otherwise injured and no substitute can be found.

In both cases you will either be offered an alternative tour or other tour dates. If neither of these is acceptable to you, the tour costs will be refunded to you in full. Orca Kayak Adventures is not liable for expenses incurred by tour members in preperation for the tour (e.g. non-refundable airline tickets).

Ineffectiveness of single regulations

Ineffectivenes of single parts of these terms of conditions do not lead to ineffectiveness of the whole contract between us and the customer.

Liability waiver

Take note that you are required to sign a liability waiver prior to tour departure. Thereby you confirm that you participate at your own risk. In North America this is required for legal and insurance reasons. Without your written confirmation your participation is impossible.
