Vancouver Island is the prime destination for Sea Kayakers on this planet. On these tours you will encounter Natural Phenomena that cannot be found anywhere else. Vast wilderness environment, hundreds of miles of rugged unspoiled coastline, natural hotsprings, thundering waterfalls, white shell beaches, old growth rainforests, unique sealife, snow capped mountains, and First Nations Culture are just a part of Orca Kayak Adventures.

Adventure

Orca Kayak Adventures began on the leading edge of the kayak touring industry. When you tour with us you will enjoy a flexible, intimate experience in the back-country. Your day will be determined by the stars, sun, and wind. paddling will be about 4-6 hours per day depending on the conditions and yourself. Otherwise, you will be free to relax on the beach, explore the forests, or hike up a mountain. Maybe you'll decide to set up a Prawn or Crab trap in the ocean and then spend the afternoon practicing your kayaking or fishing skills. 

No experience required

All of our tours are suitable for both the novice or experienced paddler. Reasonable physical condition, adventurous spirit, and a positive attitude are all that is required of you.

Preparation

We provide brand new, high performance, fiberglass sea kayaks made in Canada by Seaward. Each is fully equipped with all the latest comfort and safety gear. In addition, our guides carry flares, compasses, marine VHF radios, global positioning systems [GPS], and more.
